Sony Ericsson were the first people to bring out a camera phone in the UK, so it seems only fitting they bring out the BEST camera phone (and we mean EVER) in the UK, the Sony Ericsson C905. Why is it so good? It’s the first mobile phone in the UK to have EIGHT megapixels. It is quite simply the most powerful and amazing camera we’ve ever seen on a mobile phone!

Camera Dominance

Way back, nearly at the turn of the millennium, Sony Ericsson changed the mobile world by making a camera add-on for their mobile phones (which were then just ‘Ericsson’). Little did anyone know it, but that one addition would later become one of the most important things people seek in a mobile phone.

And so, Sony Ericsson first brought the camera phone to the UK. It seems only right, then, that they’ve now brought a phone over to the UK that will change the rules of the game. It’s the wonderful Sony Ericsson C905, and at a mind-blowing EIGHT megapixels, it’s the best camera phone that’s ever reached our shores!

EIGHT Megapixels

Read that again. 8 megapixels. EIGHT. There are simply no other mobile phones in the UK that can match the sheer magnificence and raw power of the camera on the Sony Ericsson C905. On pure image resolution alone, it would be powerful enough to knock every one of its rivals for six. But, of course, it doesn’t just stop at the number of pixels on-screen.

You see, what we have here is the latest entry into the ever-growing range of Cyber-Shot mobile phones, camera phones that have inherited the technology and sheer power of their ‘digital-camera-big-brothers-and-sisters’. So, on the Sony Ericsson C905, you get a proper xenon flash, image stabiliser, autofocus, face detection (for perfect portraits) and ultra-low light modes. It is, quite simply, the most advanced camera phone yet to be announced in the UK.

Feature-PACKED

Even with a camera that good, the Sony Ericsson C905 isn’t a mobile phone that likes to sit back on its haunches. So you get a frighteningly long list of other powerhouse features. First on the list is GPS, which you can actually use in conjunction with the camera, to geo-tag your photos, and instantly save them with the location of whatever it was you were photographing.

You may well recognise the media player in this beauty, as it’s carried over from other recent Sony Ericsson masterpieces. Which means it’s, frankly, jaw-dropping, and you’ll have to search far and wide to find a media player better than this. Add in HSDPA internet access, and you get one of the most powerful multimedia mobile phones ever made, with the Sony Ericsson C905.

World First

Finally comes a first for the Cyber-Shot series, as the Sony Ericsson C905 is the first one to include WiFi… but not just any WiFi, as it comes with what’s known as DLNA. You may not know what it means, but it’s set to become THE next big thing, as it’s a way to transfer digital content, through WiFi, to devices like PCs, consumer electronics devices, mobile phones and even things like digital picture frames.
